  • Leave Hotel in the morning and drive to Old Goa, once called the “Rome of the Orient”. Visit Se Cathedral, the biggest in Asia, and Basilica of Bom Jesus. Where the body of St. Francis Xavier, the patron saint of Goa, whose feast is celebrated on the 3rd of December, is enshrined in a Silver Casket.

    Spend an hour at Old Goa and drive to Mangueshi Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the most influential member of the Hindu Trinity. The temple was shifted from its original location in Kushasthali, now known as “Cortalim”. The temple is surrounded by picturesque surroundings.

    From Mangueshi drive to Khandepar, Ponda, to the Spice Village, which is a lush cultivated area of 55 acres of tropical garden. You will be taken on guided tour of the farm and introduced to various herbs & spices, once can also see a Cashew Feni Distillation Unit, Gobor Gas Plant and local women preparing Massalas the traditional way. After a tour of the farm enjoy a traditional Veg / Non Veg sumptuous buffet lunch served on Banana Leaves followed by plenty of local fruits and delicacies. The farm also has an Ayurveda Shop, which prescribes & sells medicines for all types of ailments. After lunch, drive to Panjim City, the Capital of Goa and spend some time shopping.

    Take a photo stop at the Mary Immaculate Conception Church. At 6 pm board the 1 hour sunset cruise and sail down the river Mandovi for a breath taking view of the sun set in the Arabian Sea. There is a live band & cultural group, that will perform traditional Goan dances during the cruise. Disembark at 7 pm and return to Hotel.
